Nurturing

Updated: Aug 28, 2024

Over time, as we practice yoga we slowly learn to still our overthinking mind, we learn to observe ourselves, to listen to our breath, to become more curious in our own needs (less in our wants or focused in others expectations), over time we connect we our deeper layers within ourselves.

Learning about ourselves through our daily practice provide us with personal meaning as we begin to move with more ease, reduce pain and improve our sleep. Which motivate us to deepen our practice as we'll feel better, ameliorating our relationship, befriending ourselves as we experience sensations, emotions, relief and so much more in the flow of our asanas.

At times, we are unable to voice it, but we may experience that with our daily practice, deeper observation, mindfulness/meditation we create a soothing way to be present, to connect with our inner resources, building skills and resilience in a way that it is nurturing ourselves and enriching our life.

From here the conversation we have with ourselves, our bodies, hearts and souls will start in time to whisper sweeter and kinder words. These words will be the ones we communicate to the world and translate into actions. These actions weaved in our daily self-care flow will support us toward reaching our direction with strength and compassion, shedding light in finding the lost path to "coming back home to ourselves" to rediscover our inner truth by recognising and listening to our inner voice and nurtured self as we continue to widen our curiosity for life long exploration.
