Practice with me

I teach Slow flow yoga to anyone that wishes to connect with themselves; to experience the physical, emotional and mental benefits it brings, not only for the flexible. My classes are accessible to beginners and people gently returning to yoga, or anyone wishing to establish regular movement. As I believe yoga should be available to everyone, the practice is inclusive, adapted and suited to varied needs.

 

During my classes, I meet you where you are and take you through a gentle progression of movements, through poses (asanas) with emphasis in cultivating awareness of the breath.
Fluidity, a sense of ease and softness as well as exploration are encouraged through non competitiveness and acceptance with the aim to pass on to you the tools to release tension to find a way of being more at peace.

 

The strengthening effects the asanas achieved are gentle and gradual, focusing our attention on our body's abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. Ending each practice with relaxation and meditation/pranayama.
 

Gifting ourselves with time to connect with our breath, move and meditate daily can have profound effect on how we feel, think, respond and interact, once our body acknowledge the benefits, we’ll feel the difference and reap the fruits. Then we’ll have every reason to wish to continue to explore how our body and mind can change, grow and improve through our practice, to help us find step by step and more often on our path an increased sense of wellbeing.

1:1 Session

Private Yoga Class for you Private classes are available for individuals or groups and are tailored to meet your needs. Do any of these sound like you... • you'd like a little 1-1 tuition to focus on certain aspects of your practice (you might benefit from improving your posture) • you and your partner or a group of friends /children would like to do something fun and healthy together • you don't feel comfortable joining a group class • you have particular needs that are not met in a group class (you might at times have stiff or tight back and shoulders, painful knees or hips or recovering from some injuries) • you are new to yoga and not sure how you'd get on in a group class • you want to practice in the comfort of your own home but with the physical guidance of a teacher to establish a regular practice. If so, a private session might be just what you need. Children Classes
 

For after school clubs or private groups. I like to bring the joy and peace of yoga to children in a way that's inclusive, fun and engaging. With warmth and empathy teach them to learn healthy habit through playfulness and story telling while learning about their emotions, life skills, connect with themselves and others with genuine compassion. My aim is to support educators and families with the tools of yoga and mindfulness into the lives of children, helping to foster a generation that's mindful, healthy, and joyful. Slow Flow Yoga Classes

Join me locally or online for soothing slow flow yoga classes in our welcoming communities to benefit from gentle movement, breath-work and meditation to find relief from anxiety, reduce stress, strengthen your body, ease a busy mind into softness and increase your level of energy. Step onto a journey of self curiosity and discovery by making a choice that promotes relaxation and self care while guided by a sense of belonging into a warm community. Join in every Mondays (except B. Holiday) 7-8 pm at Castle Green Community Centre RM9 4UN Or every Wednesdays 7-8 pm at United Reformed Church RM6 6RS.
